A remarkable offer for all your members from the CJC – Jewish visits to the British Museum – free!
This is an offer for all your members so please don’t hug this opportunity to yourself, but publicise te opportunity widely through all your outlets and platforms.
Though real travelling is not yet easy for most of us, I am very pleased to share with you a virtual opportunity for you and members of your community to visit the British Museum in London!
Through the generosity of a supporter of the CJC, we are able to offer all members of your communities outside the UK, and all in the comfort of their own homes, the opportunity – FOR FREE! – to join the London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS) on their highly acclaimed visits to the British Museum, which take a unique perspective on the British Museum’s unparalleled collection; the first visit relates to Purim and then, a few weeks later, another session is angled towards Pesakh. (Just think of all that lovely Egyptian stuff!)
I am sure that there will be many around the Commonwealth who will love these sessions. Should there be sufficient appetite for these programmes, the CJC is committed to exploring further with the LSJS other learning options, which will carry LSJS’s trademark qualities of high quality scholarship coupled with innovative and approachable topics and angles, with Commonwealth Jewry specially in mind.
To be able to access such sessions free is a remarkable privilege.
Please find below instructions as to how anyone interested should go about claiming their free places.
I wish you all shabbat shalom and all other good wishes
Clive (Lawton OBE JP)
